A Perfect Start

Our anniversary trip has been bliss!  We're having a great time.  We set out early yesterday morning.  It was a perfect day!

On the way to the cabin, we stopped in to support Chick-fil-A, (and for the yummy food). We looked up one that would be on our way to the cabin. And wow! It was amazing how many people came out to support them too! On the inside, the line was wrapped all the way around the restaurant and doubled back, and the order lines were jammed with people shoulder-to-shoulder, with more coming in constantly. That doesn’t even count the drive-in, which by the way they had to call in police to direct traffic. And as crowded as it was, all the people were so friendly, happy, and patient. The wait was so worth the cause!

And this gentleman (employee) that worked there was walking around serving free chicken to everyone.

It was so neat to see everyone coming together and it was fun because they would call out the names of the orders (people’s names) and the folks in front would pass the bags over their heads to the folks waiting on their order. Jason and I walked out of there bursting with hope and encouragement!

Then we arrived here. And it’s everything I hoped it would be….and MORE!

Look at this view!

We’re headed out early in the morning to do a little of this on the trails…..

It’s fun having a 30 year honeymoon!  (More pics when we get home)!

Thanks so much to both old friends and new ones for joining Paula and me for our chat. I knew you would love her and those that already knew her…..that you’d love her even more. Thank you, Paula, for being such a wonderful guest! I enjoyed our visit so much! Hope I didn’t hype you up too much on that sweet tea! :)

I know you must be enjoying yourself - what a great cabin and that view - wow!!! I want to move in. Isn't it amazing how one comment can stir up so much emotion in people! I love Chick-fil-A and will continue to eat there also!

I'm still figuring out the "reply" thing on blogger but I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by the other day and commenting - glad I'm not the only blogger still using borders!lol

I agree with Jeannette, Tammy~ I could see myself living in that cabin! *haha*
Gorgeous view~ and with that nice 4-wheeler you'll get to see lots more of it.
My jaw dropped when I saw the pictures you took inside Chik-Fil-A.... The one near us was crowded too but it's amazing to think it was like that everywhere! Good for them!
(By the way~ I've heard they have great sweet tea! *giggle*)

It looks like a wonderful place to enjoy being with each other. My husband and I spent a couple of days at a cabin in Berryville, AR several years ago. Loved it! We hope to have a 40 year honeymoon next summer. Just have to decide where to go!

Thank you for supporting Chik~fil~a, I'm growing quite tired of the folks on my Facebook page bashing them and misunderstanding what it is they are upset with the chain for. Anyhow, adorable cabin and have a great anniversary!

Oh your cabin is so cute. I was working yesterday and the nearest Chik Fil A is 2 hours away so I didn't get to go but I sure support them in my heart and I was so happy to watch the news and see how many stores were just the same as the one you were at. Continue to enjoy your trip and continued blessings for you all!

What an inspirational outpouring of love and support for the founder of Chick Filet! How I wish we had this restaurant where I live. My hubby and I would have been there, too!
God is so good! It's so uplifting seeing people stand for what is right!
Blessings and thank you for your wonderful post!
Happy Happy Anniversary!
