Unfinished Shutters Added to Our Etsy & Jo-Anne's Giveaway

After a recent request for a custom order that involved unfinished shutters, we decided that just might be something that my prim friends and fellow prim decorators might be interested in......unfinished primitive shutters. I've learned through painting on my own and most recently our kitchen remodeling, that color shades can vary even just the slightest bit! There are so many burgundy red shades, as well as mustards, and so on. By adding this option to our Etsy store, hopefully it opens up more options for the customer.

We've just added the unfinished primitive shutters to our Etsy store. This set shown is 7" wide by 36" long. They were purposely left unfinished so that they can be customized to the decorator's liking....favorite paint or stain, and even distressed as much or little as desired. I'd love for you to stop in our Etsy store and check them out! If another width or length is needed.....that's not a problem either! Just contact us and we'll work with you to get the size needed!

And speaking of Etsy stores, Jo-Anne of The Carter Clan, just opened her very own Etsy store and is hosting a wonderful giveaway in honor of her store opening. Hop on over there and check it out!

Hi Tammy,
I also think that it's a really great idea to add your shutters on Etsy unfinished too, especially since there are so many different paint/stain colors & shade choices to choose from nowadays, and one would then be able to put their own finishing color touches on them, so that they would go with their decor the way they'd like.

I really love the one's I won on your blog giveaway and also that I bought from you on Etsy though.. Their black color is so perfect for in each of my rooms! They look real pretty, and have added such a wonderful warmth to the rooms! I am so very pleased with them. :) Thank you!

Take care, and have a great weekend!

Love & Blessings,
~Lynn/Okc

I think that is a great idea; I ordered shutters from my local country shop so many months ago and put a large deposit on them; I have yet to get them! I wanted them to go across the picture window in my living room and one set for the side window; the lady's husband does great work; but he has 2 other jobs; she was having another woodworker do it, but I still have not heard a thing; do you do those ones that go across the window?

Thats a great idea!!

Hope all is well with you :)

Tammy,
That is a great idea! I have to admit that I have bought things and ended up coming home and repainting them to my liking. I look at them and decide that the price is right and I buy but then I have to work on it at home! LOL So that is a GREAT idea.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
