Faithful Friday - "Grow Where You Are Planted"

For Faithful Friday today, I'm sharing (again) from one of my favorite devotion books, His Princess (Love Letters from Your King) by Sheri Rose Shepherd.

A wonderful devotion book!  :)

These devotions just seem to speak to me especially when I need them.  I hope they do the same for you!  :)

My Princess.......Grow Where You Are Planted

I know you sometimes wonder if your life has any real worth.  But I assure you that I can use you to impact those around you.  Just as I used Paul in prison, I will use you wherever you are or whatever circumstance you are in.  Let me water you with My holy Word, and you will begin to bloom wherever you are planted.  Come to Me in prayer and let Me empower you with My spirit.  Even if you can't see the harvest of your hard work now, I promise that others will one day look back at the time you were in their lives and remember your acts of kindness, words of wisdom, and love for them.  So for now, My valuable princess let Me help you blossom in a world that is searching for the meaning of life.

Love,
Your Kig and Gardener of Life

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Romans 8:28

We may never know how many folks lives' we personally make a difference in, but we have God's promise that He will use us right where we are.  We just need to be faithful to letting God use us and just bloom right where God plants us!  :)

Have a great weekend!  :)

Our Bible study this year has revolved around Fruit Bearing. Grow Where You Are Planted was a lesson one week. Thanks for sharing your verses!

Dear Tammy, I haven't heard of this devotional book before but now know I will have to find it. It was like my thoughts being on print before me. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hugs, Noreen

God is truly speaking to my heart through this devotion today. I've been searching for where I can make a difference in my little corner of the world. "Bloom Where you are Planted" is such a well-worn statement. I once cross-stitched it in a frame and gave it to a friend who was so gentle and kind. Thank you. I needed this so much! <3

We had Bloom Where You Are Planted for a theme for a ladies fellowship where my husband went to seminary. It is good advice! I was just reading some comments on a post on Nesting Place blog about parsonages. This devotional would be good for those to read also. Really some interesting comments!
I do enjoy reading your posts on Friday! Thanks!
