20 Already? Happy Birthday, Colt!

I can't believe that my baby boy is already 20 years old.......as of yesterday March 4th! I had a little trouble with my scanner, so I'm just now able to get this post on here. I wanted to share some of my favorite photos of Colt with you.

First Birthday

This was his "Oh, no...Girls...face"

It's amazing for me to think that this special boy, our son, was born across the world and God was preparing him to come home to us...his family, anxiously awaiting his arrival. Actually, at this point, only God knew he would be ours. We were awaiting assignment of a child (our child) and wouldn't know for another month or so that our son was born on this day and going through all the legal processes necessary to bring him home to us!

Our little baseball player

Our little man all dressed at church....

Mr. cool...with his guitar....

What a blessing (and adventure) it has been raising this guy! As you can see from all "the faces of Colt" in the pictures throughout this post, we were never bored. He has always been a bundle of energy, lots of fun, and he has thoroughly entertained us!

I think this is my VERY favorite picture...I love this expression I captured...

Our little cowboy....right before riding in one of his horse shows.

Now a young man....One of his senior pictures (taken by me).....

Colt,

We're so proud of the young man you've become and so very glad that God chose you to be ours! I know God has so many plans for you and it's exciting to see them unfold. We love you with all our hearts! We hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration at The Olive Garden. I know we did....as usual you entertained us all!
Happy 20th Birthday, Son!

Awwwwwwww! I love all the pics of Colt! Happy Birthday!
Turning 20 is quite a milestone. Do you remember turning 20? I do! And when our daughter turned 20, I remember how that felt too!
We really have to enjoy our kids all we can in the short time the Lord lends them to us. Life goes by so fast!

Hi Tammy! Lovely post! I love all the faces of Colt! He's grown into quite a young man! To answer your question about how long before my husband notices the picture? He won't because it's back safe and sound in the closet, I only took it out for my post. Don't know when I may ever change what I have in the kitchen already so we'll see. Deb

What a wonderful blessing. My older brother was adopted after my parents had been married for 9 years. Three years later they had me. My mom has always said that God worked it out and during those years when she thought they'd never be parents, God was planning it all. My parents have now been married for 60 years, and along with me and my brother, they have 10 grandchildren. Happy Birthday to your wonderful son and beautiful blessing from God.

Happy Birthday Colt!
I love the senior picture you took.

Thanks about the Arks Tammy.
You asked about the painting, and no I didn't paint it. It was an artist from NH. He use to sell on Ebay. His name is Tim Campbell, and I think he went by Tim Campbell Art.

I loved the story on how you met your sweet hubby.
