♥ Painting Progress ♥

Remember me posting a picture of me painting the deck with a roller around Memorial Day?  Well, with the exception of one weekend, we have been working every weekend of June and some week nights when we could.  It's been a project that was attacked by Jason, my daddy, and me.  This was all done with a roller and sometimes a brush where needed......TWO COATS!

Here's a before glimpse, so you can see the transformation:  (And please excuse the clutter and plastic lying around...it's still in working mode.)

BEFORE:

And now!  AFTER:

We used the color we have on our outbuilding/shed.  It's the closest we could get to the cedar color we like in a stain, since this is a paint.  It is called Ginger Spice by Olympic.

We're still working on the rest of The Cedar Loft/Garage area.

And when we're done with this?  Well then it's time to do the house!  But this time, it will be with a sprayer where possible!  Do you hear me shouting "Praise the Lord"?  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a wonderful day!  :)

OMG I can't believe all that hard work is done. That sure was a project. We sprayed ours and did it all in an hour. You were a busy bee.

Looks great Tammy. Is it waterproof?

We use CVF Flood in Cedar, its a stain and waterproofer.

LOVE it!!! We are going to be either painting or staining our deck here soon. I absolutely love how yours turned out.

Question - what are you planting under your deck? We have a spot like yours and was thinking of planting something there as well, but not sure what!

Looks great! We have a lot of fence to clean and stain this year. A pain, but worth the effort. Great job!

Hi Tammy,
Your deck and painting looks so wonderful!! I love seeing transformations of decorating and home projects like this. You and your family were brave to tackle it in summer too... hopefully it's cooler in your part of the South than in ours! But it looks beautiful.

I also wanted to say thank you so much for all your comments! I appreciated your visiting my blog and truly enjoyed reading them! -especially about summer :) And I would be so happy to have you follow my blog. I don't have a follow button (I actually don't know how to add one), but you can follow by email on the side or I think copy and paste my address into your reading list on blogger.

I enjoy your blog so much and look forward to reading more! Thankyou again for your kind comments. God Bless you!

Sending hugs and wishing you a great day,
Jazzmin
