Faithful Friday - "Inspirational Quotes"

For Faithful Friday today, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite inspirational quotes with you. If you’d like to participate in Faithful Fridays, we’d love to visit. Grab Joy’s button below and leave her a comment here letting her know you’re participating!

You can’t get much better than the Bible for inspirational quotes, and I would have to say my very favorite verse from the Bible is one that my own mother used to put in my lunchbox every day. It is truly a promise from God and a scripture for daily life.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

Those words are words of wisdom. I want to follow God’s plan for my life. And this is a wonderful reminder and promise.

This is another of my all time favorites:

Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.
St. Francis of Assissi

I really love that. Our actions should be enough for others to know we are a Christian and to show God’s love.

I also love:

Don’t tell God how big your storm is, tell your storm how big your God is. (Source Unknown)

What about you? What are some of your favorite inspirational quotes or promises from God’s Word?

Love all of those quotes! I agree that inspirational quotes, get us through some rough times. I took my oldest granddaughter to school her first day of kindergarten. Her sister was in the hospital and her mother was with her. All the way from the car to the door, she repeated, "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." We both have bible bags with that verse.
Thanks for the memory.
