We are officially DTC!

If you remember this post, I explained how excited we were to have our dossier, minus the one waiting document, sent to Xiaoqing (our adoption agency's coordinator). Well....the last document from The Assistant Stork arrived to Xiaoqing yesterday (1/18/10), and being the angel she is, our dossier was sent to China the same day! This lady is wonderful! That makes us officially DTC! Yes....our dossier is on its way to China!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the prayers! I am so very thankful and excited (bet you couldn't tell)!. I know the Lord is in control and bringing us through each and every step of this journey to Luke. I feel His presence so much in this.

Now we're waiting for those next three sweet letters...(music to our ears).....LID........:)

WOW! Praise God! Luke will be in your arms before you know. God's hand IS in this. Prayers will continue for you & your family, including Luke.
I hope you are writing a journal about this. Both for Colt & Luke. When they are grown, they can look back and see how hard you worked to bring them home and how they were loved from the beginning. I have no doubt that they feel loved and special anyway, but having all of this in writing would be so extra special.
Tammy, I think you and your family are just amazing.
Have a great week! I'm sure your feet are barely touching the ground over this news. :0)

So happy for you! So much for the rule that she only mailed them on Fridays - maybe your dossier was the only one ready this week. This means we are only 10 days apart for our DTC date. Can't to hear of our LID. Celebrating w/ you : )

That is fantastic! I am so happy for you and your family!! :)
I would love to adopt and give a child a good home...but it is just so expensive. I don't think we ever could. But I am so so glad there are families like yours who *can* and will give a little one a great place to live! :)

Oh Tammy, It's obvious I have missed visiting your blog in awhile. Congrats on your upcoming adoption. Luke is adorable. I'm going to email you with an email address of my friend Jackie (who has just adopted a precious little girl in China). You two need to get to know one another.

Congrats again....I'm SO happy for you, your family and for Luke!!!!
