I pinned a few simple fall crafts from Pinterest to do with Luke. I’ve actually got three to share today, two of which we did here at home, and one that he did at the homeschool group in his Little Crafts class. All of these can be found on my Pinterest board, Crafty Things.
The first one was an owl. Here’s the original pin:
We didn’t go with the exact colors shown. Luke picked out his own colors. He’s partial to yellow. I’ve always loved owls and I liked the way his turned out.
Next we did a simple scarecrow. Here’s the original pin:
This one was a little messier, but little boys love messier. :) I had some of Holly’s “primitive hay” everywhere because he loved sticking that stuff in the glue.
I think the one in the pin was actually done opposite of the way we did ours with the face being on the open side of the bag so it could be used as a gift bag, but we opted to do ours this way so Luke could play with it like a puppet.
The last one was done in the Little Crafts homeschool co-op class lead by one of our homeschool moms (Abby). I thought it was really cute. I actually ran across this pin after they made it.
And here’s Luke’s. Abby did A LOT of cutting of little square leaves because she had at least 15 kiddos in the class ages 4 – first grade. Bless her sweet little heart! Luke had to have this by his bed at night and then he would take it and put it on the refrigerator during the day. He loves shaking those “leaves” up and down watching them fall off the tree. It’s really cute!
And that’s it for us this week. So what have you been making or trying from your pins on Pinterest? Won’t you join me today and share what you’ve been up to? And I’d also love for you to follow along with Country Girl at Home, both here on the blog as well as Pinterest. :)
To participate in Pinned it, Made it! Monday, here are the guidelines:
1) Just do a post about what you’ve pinned and made from Pinterest, then come back over here to Country Girl at Home and link that particular post (not your blog in general) on this post below.
2) I don’t mind if you link up more than one post….multiple entries are fine.
3) You must add my Pinned it, Made it! Monday button on your post or sidebar of your blog linking back to Country Girl at Home. You may get this button code on the page at the top of my blog labeled “Buttons”. Just copy and paste the code into your post.
4) Be supportive and visit blog entries. I do ask that you visit at least one and leave a comment there. And don't forget to leave me one here! :) We all love comments, don’t we? It’s encouraging and uplifting!
5) By linking up and participating, you give me permission to use your entry photo if I decide to feature an entry.

I have another treat for you.......coming up this Wednesday! Another wonderful guest is joining me for a Sunporch Chat. She's a familiar face to many of you and a sweet long time blogging friend of mine. I'm not going to tell you she is today..........maybe I will tomorrow. :) But I hope you'll come join us on Wednesday! :)
Oh and here's another photo for Sandra's 31 days of Fall Challenge. Joy took this one while in Alabama. She, Christina (her friend), and Kemper (her cousin) had a photo session with my camera. Maybe I'll share more from that session later this week. :)
