♥ Most Annoying Songs ♥

There’s a joke around our house about annoying songs. My kids know if they really want to aggravate me, to start singing these most annoying songs (at the top of their lungs).

So I thought I’d share a few that make my “most annoying songs” list.

1) “Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time”

In my book, it wins the award for most annyoing song!    It's just SO repetitious!  And it just doesn't seem Christmasy to me.  Christmas songs are supposed to be peaceful!  :)

2) “I Was Raised on Country Sunshine”

Jason likes to tease us with this one in the car. He has it downloaded and likes it and plays it alot.  I like country, but it’s just too twangy for me.

3)   “Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow”

This one is so repetitious too.  I like snow, but I don't even know how many times they say that one word in the song.  lol!

AND, I have to say that most Justin Bieber songs are close runner-ups, especially that one called "Boyfriend".  Joy isn't a fan either.  Luke likes to tease Joy with one of Justin's songs....I think it's called, "Never Say Never".   (I really hope I don't offend you Justin Bieber fans).    :)

Okay, now I know you must have at least one song that annoys you too……so tell me what YOURS is/are!

  1. Tammy,
I have to quick run to get ready for school. But, as soon as I saw the first song on your list, I had to respond! I HATE that song too! (Not a fan of the repetitious either) Oh, my! I make comments and groan whenever it comes on! My husband just laughs at me, but I am glad someone else feels my pain!!!!!

    Have a wonderful day!
    Love, Heather

  2. How funny! I have never heard of several of those. Guess that a good thing huh? Darbee can sing those annoying songs off of her cartoons and get them stuck in my head and drive me crazy! A few days ago, she was stuck on "Michael Finnegan." She only knew one little part of it but unfortunately it was the part that had "begin again" in it and she would start all over. AHHHHH!!!! I feel your pain! :) Have a great day!

  3. Justin Bieber is right up there for me and my kids as the most annoying. My almost 14 year old really dislikes him and so does the 9 year old LOL

But for me, the most annoying song ever right now is that Taylor Swift "never ever ever ever ever ever getting back together". Oh my word, like nails on a chalkboard LOL

  6. Great post!! I know this is probably an unpopular choice for annoying songs, but it would have to be Home for the Holidays. It just gets stuck in my head and I cannot stop singing it. Even as I type, it is going through my head...LOL! I hope you have a great day!

  8. Ha ha--your number one is one of ours along with "Last Christmas". I do like "Snow,Snow,Snow", mostly because I love White Christmas. We aren't Justin fans either, my 12 yr old can't stand him but my 6 yr old loves him, I think mostly to annoy her sister. I know I have a few more, can't think of them now.

  14. There's a song by The Red Hot Chili Peppers that's not so much annoying as it is infuriating because of the lyrics. It makes me spittin' mad, but apparently the rest of the world somehow sees it as being romantic. Just thinking about it makes me so mad that I want to write a letter to the band!

  15. LOL I agree on the first song. I am not a Bieber fan and really don't know his songs...can't really think of one I hate until I hear it. LOL

  17. Ha ha! Yeah, I add to your list that monster-mashing song. Repetition and silliness is my thoughts :)

  18. I hate Hey June by the Beatles. My brother sang that song constantly. I so wanted to strangle him when we were kids. I still swear he did it just to drive me crazy.

  19. "Say What You Need To Say" by John Mayer. Not a fan of anything by him but that song plays at my work all the time and I want to cringe! REPETITIOUS!! I used to love "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Andy Williams but again, my work took that song and made a mix out of it and it almost sounds like it's skipping! Horrible!! Oh I can go on and on with some of the music out there now...;)
