I finally took time to get some pictures to share with you. I’ve decided I'm going to share a room a day so my Christmas decor posts will be spread out over a few days. We're going to start with the living room. Warning....it's picture heavy! :)
I kept it very simple with touches of greenery and berries and less stuff sitting around. This year I have my new Johnston Benchworks furniture and the new staircase. It seems to make it all the more cozy. I just love sitting and taking it all in with all the twinkling lights! Ah....Christmas....I just adore it! :)
So, here we go. Grab you a nice steaming cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your tour! :)
I mix my Christmas decor with my Americana. I like keeping that touch of Americana. |
On our cedar chest coffee table |
I love the movie Prancer, therefore this letter "Is There a Santa Claus?" is special to me. I've had it a long time. I've always loved that movie. |
View from the loft.....yes that's real dust on the ceiling fan...lol! |
Our big family tree.....it's full of memories! |
The new Thomas train we bought for Luke......a new Christmas tradition of keeping a train under the tree. He loves trains! |
And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care........ |
I hope you enjoyed your living room Christmas tour. Tomorrow night I'll have my Pinned it, Made it! Monday post on....but then, I'll be back on Tuesday with the next room. I haven't decided which one that will be just yet. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by! :)

Hi Tammy, Love your design and different touches. Wish we could have seen a close up on the painting. I have many crocks but never thought of putting greenery in them-might just have to go get some off the pine tree.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what else you've done.
Hugs, Noreen

Makes me want to come over and watch a Christmas movie...it can be Prancer! LOL! I love the lights off pictures best! Such ambiance! I sure enjoy my visits to your blog. ReplyDeleteI love that new traditions are started even with the last little one. I am sure he loves watching that train go around. Quinn thinks are tree is bare underneath as I have not wrapped on thing yet so I noticed a bunch of her toys under there this evening. As for your house. Our tastes are so similar that I feel at home when I see your photos of your house. We are looking for an oval braided rug for one of our rooms right now. Where did you get yours? Was it ordered online?
ReplyDeleteSimply Beautiful!! So warm and cozy. I love it all. Blessings~Sara

A beautiful tour indeed. It's all so warm, cozy and and all I would like is a nice cup of tea and a soft blanket. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLovely! So warm.
ReplyDeleteLooks so beautiful Tammy! We decorated early this year also, since we weren't having Thanksgiving, and it made such a difference. We're able to enjoy everything also. I love your mantel and the fireplace. So pretty! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNice decorations. the trunk though is out in the middle and looks lost, is too small to scale for the room as is the rug. Rugs should be large to hold the couch and chairs and the trunk near them and larger. I would move the couch in some as well as the chairs and maybe the trunk would work. everything is up against a wall. vary that. is the fireplace or the piano the focal point?
ReplyDeleteSo warm, cozy, old fashioned....just love it! :)
ReplyDeleteYour house looks amazing! And your tree is especially pretty this year :)
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
