The staircase is {finally} finished…..and decorated for Christmas!
We just love it! It definitely has the cabin feel that we hoped to achieve!
And it was definitely worth the wait and the mess for the last three months!

ReplyDeleteWhat a difference that makes!! I love the new staircase. Isn't it funny how are taste changes? I know sometimes I ask myself what was I thinking?
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the preview sentence of your post I knew it was for the staircase and as I was clicking to come over I thought, "I wonder if she went ahead and decorated for Christmas?" AND you did! It looks beautiful! I was wondering how Joy is doing? I made the laundry detergent in powder form also. We started in July and have done pretty well with it. We made only 1 bar of the soap and it lasted about a month, so the next time we did 4 bars of soap and we still have detergent. I keep it in a bigger tupperware in our garage and transfer smaller amounts to a smaller container in the cabinet over our washer. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWho would have "thunk" it! It looks so pretty. WOW what a difference. I know you are just thrilled with it. Your decorations look good. I did mine yesterday and today. Hope Joy is feeling better.
