Faithful Friday - "The Hairbrush"
I don’t know about you, but there have been times that God spoke clearly to me in my heart, telling me to go speak to a certain person, say a kind word to them, or to offer my services. He has spoken just as clearly to my heart before in not driving a certain way. Call me crazy, but I believe God does that to bless us (or other people) or even protect us.
Oh that I could say that I’ve always listened and obeyed. But the truth is more times than not, I’ve missed the moment and regretted it later. I have tried and am trying harder to listen when God speaks to me in that way and to follow through and obey. And when I do, there’s no feeling like it. What a blessing!
Many of you have probably heard this true story from Beth Moore, Christian author and speaker. Hearing her tell it is all the more a blessing because I can just envision me questioning God in the same way. I too have been known to argue with God (silently) of course over things He was asking me to do or not to do. You know...... trying to talk God out of something. But funny thing......sometimes God can be so bossy!
I hope this blesses you as much as it does me. And just think if we could all listen to God’s voice (even when it is bossy) and obey. What a blessing we can be to others and what a blessing we will receive in return!
Enjoy and be blessed!

Hi Tammy, that video is great--love Beth Moore. I was so sorry to read of Jason's father's passing, and to hear of Joy's time in the hospital!! Really enjoyed the blocks and building post about Luke. He's such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteTammy, what a great video! Yes, we (I) need to listen more to what God tells me to do / not do / say / not say, etc. This Beth gal is good! Thanks for posting!
