~ Auction for Adoption ~ (Come Do Some Christmas Shopping)!

If you’ve been reading my blog, then you know how dear adoption is to my heart. I couldn’t even begin to express the blessings that come along with it. Unfortunately, it is a very expensive thing. To think that money is what stands in the way of so many waiting children coming home to loving families really saddens me. Because of the expenses of the adoption process, fundraising is an avenue for many adoptive families to meet these expenses. Today you have the opportunity to be a part of bringing a child home to a loving Christian family, and even get some Christmas shopping done as well!

As I mentioned on the last few posts, today begins the auction to help raise funds for the Bryant family to bring home their 8 year old daughter, Leiney Grace, from China. Please take a look at their blog and see their sweet family! They have huge hearts for orphans. Leiney Grace will be coming home to seven brothers and sisters! She needs heart surgery. This family is really stepping out on faith, not sure the extent of her heart problems, or knowing if she is operable. They are trusting God. But, one thing is for sure, Leiney Grace needs to get home where her medical issues can be addressed and where she can know and feel the love of her forever family!

You can play a part in bringing Leiney Grace home in a couple of different ways. First, by bidding in this auction today, and second, at the end of this post, there will be a link to Jan’s blog posts where you may purchase goat milk soap and/or beautiful postards.

So here’s how the auction works. Bidders from US only please due to shipping prices. Above each picture is a description and below each picture will be a starting bid. Email me here (or by using the email option on my sidebar) with your bid and include a detailed description of the item you are bidding on and I’ll post your bid to my blog. I will verify the bid with you by email as well. If you are outbid, I will notify you so that you have the option of bidding again. I will notify all winners once the auction ends, which will be on Thursday, November 10th at 5 p.m. (Central Standard Time). Payments can be made by paypal or by check. At the time you are notified, you will be given the paypal or mailing address, depending on which payment method you choose. Please note that if you are paying by check, the item will not be mailed until the check is received by the family.

So here we go with the items up for auction.......

Please tell anyone you know that might be interested in helping. I know not everyone can adopt, but you can help bring home one more child to a Christian family, and make one less orphan in this world. After all, just think how much difference you’re making for that one! You have permission to grab this photo button if you’d like to post it on your sidebar stating the days of the auction (Nov. 7 - Nov. 10) and linking to my blog. Just right click and save.

And if you’d rather help by purchasing goat milk soap (I can’t wait to get ours), you can go here on Jan’s blog and learn how to order. Each bar is $6 and there are many wonderful scents and even an unscented one. I think they would make great gifts for teachers. They arrive in cute little bags. Oh, and they would make great stocking stuffers too!

Also Shelby, the Bryant’s oldest daughter has taken beautiful photographs and designed postcards from them to sell as well. You may see those here. There are several designs from which to choose.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog to check out the auction and for having a heart for adoption!  I pray that each and every person that comes here will be blessed for coming!  And I know the Bryant family appreciates anyway you can help as they raise the funds to bring home their Leiney Grace!

God bless you!
