So many of you have your homes decked out for fall and looking beautiful! I just love taking in all the fall decor! Fall IS my favorite season but Christmas is my favorite holiday (and my very favorite to decorate!) I guess I've always kept it fairly light and simple for fall, but now I find myself wishing that I had more to decorate with! I didn't think I could fairly say my home is decorated for fall, so we'll say my home has sprinkles of fall.....how about that? So I thought I would share the sprinkles of fall around our home right now. I haven't done much to the outside yet and will do that later as it actually gets cooler around here! But here's a little sprinkling of interior fall decor!
First of all, here's what is giving my home the smell of fall right now! I ordered my Pumpkin Pie room spray from Beth of Raggedy Angel and it came in the mail Saturday! It smells SO yummy....cinnamon and nutmeg....mmmm! It's wonderful! I've been walking around spraying it constantly....I just can't help myself! :)
In the dining room on the buffet:
The table and hutch:
The center of the dining room table:
The pass through...there's my room spray and the little scarecrow peeping out of the basket:
And a little in the living room:
My little scarecrow is at home on a shelf above the piano:
On the basket table:
The cedar chest coffee table:
Just a simple touch of leaves on my crates:
A friendly fellow on the fireplace hearth:
The fireplace mantle:
A little simple decor in the kitchen too.....the center of my breakfast table:
And just a hint of fall hanging on the stove:
And there you have it.....that's the sprinkles of fall that you'll find in my home right now....who knows what I'll pick up along the way.....as a matter of fact, maybe I'll be lucky enough to be the winner of one of these great giveaways!
My friend, Colleen of And Baby Makes Five, is having a fall giveaway that you don't want to miss! Hop on over and leave her a comment and you'll be signed up! She is drawing out a winner at the end of this week! I sure could find a spot for these, Colleen! Pick me, pick me! :)
And Lisa of Black Sheep Prims has this wonderful stitchery that I would love to make a home for here! Be sure and hop over there before tomorrow night...because she's drawing out a winner in honor of her birthday!
The Pickled Pepper is also having a great fall giveaway...take a look! I want to win that one too! Click on over and sign up for this one too! She's drawing out a winner on September 15th! These look SO real!
I'm behind on my blog reading! I hope to get some computer time tonight to catch up! If I haven't visited you lately, I'll be by real soon! Thanks for stopping by to visit! :)

Oh and by the way you just tie strips of different cloth on the flip flops. I chose red and white because that is the school colors and I have cute little red and white buttons to hot glue on too. I will post a pic when I finally get them done.
Morning,
ReplyDeleteYour "Sprinkles" of Fall look very Nice! How long does the room spray last in the room?
Enjoy your Tues.

I think some folks over-do it. I like th esimple touches. Less is more. I think yours are very chic....tasteful....
ReplyDeleteI love your fall decorations! Your stove is beautiful. I also love the little stuffed candy corn.
ReplyDeleteI've been vacillating over when to put out my fall decor. I do this every year, thinking that I'm cutting summer too short. I just love the fall!
Everything looks great. Love the scarecrows. I wish I had an eye for decorating but I'm design challanged.
ReplyDeleteTammy,
ReplyDeleteHi, I just love your sprinkles. :) You really have a warm and welcoming home and a nice decorating touch. I too think that less is more, but in my case I don't have a lot of fall decorations so I put out my halloween stuff. I have a small house so I don't have a lot of room to work with so sometimes it looks like too much. Its all relative anyway. I tend to go a little heavy sometimes but it puts a smile on my face. I think thats what its all about, surrounding yourself with things that make you smile and happy. Thanks for coming over to visit and thanks for complimenting my candle sleeves. Hope you have a great day, Prim Blessings,
Siri
