We played inside.
We played outside.
We went to the park, and then to Baskin Robbins for ice cream.
We went to church.
And then it was time to go home. The house is definitely quieter, but I do miss those little bundles of energy. :)

Next week my (grown) nephew and his wife (Trey and Shauna) are coming to spend the week with us. We're all looking forward to it. We have our week mapped out already!

On another note, since I got my Galaxy 4 S (smartphone), I'm really enjoying it.......maybe a little too much! I'm really loving Instagram. To me, it's a little like "mini blogging" - pics with a few words. So what about you? Are you on Instagram? I'd love to follow my blogging friends on there but I can't seem to find many! Let me know if you are on there and how to find you, and I'd love to be a follower! (My user name is countrygirlathome).

Something else that's on my mind........Pinned it, Made it! Monday. It seems like interest in it might be diminishing. So I need your input.....is this something you enjoy? Would you enjoy a more general linky party that would be easier to participate in, say, an "At Home" one that you could link up anything pertaining to home/home life? Or even no linky party at all....and just go back to general posts by me? I value your thoughts, input, and suggestions! And what about the Sunporch Chats?
What kind of posts do you most enjoy here?

Oh, and Joy and I are counting down the days to being done with Algebra in our homschool.......this Friday! That will be a day to celebrate!

I know today's post was a rambling bit of this and that but it's what was rolling around in my head today. Thank you for stopping by. Have a beautiful day (and evening). :)

Mama,
I love this post! :) We've had some fun going on, and it looks like we're in for more fun. :) I had so much fun with the girls! :D
Love you! 8!
Love,
Joy :)
Such adorable girls....that is the cutest/most fun age! They are just precious!
Tomorrow is my last day with my 1st graders...then one more "teachers" day on Friday....then SUMMERTIME! Yippee!
I love to read the Pin Its but I can't seem to accomplish anything yet to share and am probably not tech savy enough to post it! HA!
I LOVE the Sunporch Chats though...so keep them coming!
I want a Day in the Life of Joy soon! She is so darling! ;)
Will you say a prayer for Darb? She got home from K State and then a few days later left for 7 weeks to be a Counselor at a Christian Camp in Branson, MO. I'm missing her so much! ;(
Can I have Luke for a week?????????
Sweet little girls. Little ones are a hard job for me to keep up with anymore, but as you said...they can be so much fun :) Blessings
Hooray for finishing up algebra! My most difficult class growing up.
The girls are sweet and looks like you all had a great visit.
So much fun.
I've been praying for JOY!
Let her know while gardening God brought her to my heart.
And I prayed and prayed.
Woolie Blessings :)
It looks like you've been having fun!
For my two cents worth, I enjoy Pinned it, Made it! Monday, but it seems too much else has been going on for me to do any thing new lately...I enjoy reading the Sunporch Chats, too.
We hate Algebra in this household, too!!
Have a great weekend!
Karen
Oh it's always fun to have little ones around and especially sweet adorable ones ( but show me one that isn't sweet and adorable! ) and they made wonderful playmates for Luke.
Ice Cream...yummmm.
As far as the Pinned it Made it Monday I can't really say Tammy - I don't participate in the different things that happen in blogland ( although I love reading about it ) so I can't be much help...I do read yours though!
Enjoy your time with family coming.
Oh...and the phone thing - sorry - I have just a cheap ole pay as you go and that's all I want...don't seem to have the time to be on it so don't need a fancy do all one.
All our kids do though and they love them.
Blessings,
Karen
